Next.js
A React framework for building web applications
What is Next.js?
Next.js is a framework built around React. It adds routing, rendering options, server-side capabilities and conventions for building applications.
How is it different from Vue?
Next.js uses React, so learn JSX, props, state and hooks. Concepts like components, routing and API calls will be familiar from Vue.
What is file-based routing?
In the App Router, folders and special files in the app directory define routes. For example, app/about/page.jsx maps to /about.
Server vs Client Components?
App Router components are Server Components by default. Use 'use client' when a component needs browser APIs, event handlers or client-side state.
How does it work with Laravel?
Laravel can provide backend APIs while Next.js serves the frontend. Plan API access, authentication, cookies and CORS deliberately.
